The new location on Bay Area Blvd is finally open after many months. I stopped in to sample the margaritas as they were great at the old location on E Camino Real. I did not eat, except for chips and salsa-the salsa was great as usual. I ordered a gold margarita which ran 6.99 at the old location and came in...I think-a 12 oz, maybe 14 oz glass. This time the margarita came in a much smaller glass-I would guess 1/2 the volume of that of the old location's glasses, but still was 6.99 and maybe less potent than they used to be. The restaurant itself is nice and the staff/service was as always top notch. I will be back to sample the food but if the margaritas don't go back to the original size, I will probably not continue to go there. Last time I was at the Dickinson location, they still used the bigger glasses.
Well I'll start by saying that the service was really slow I don't know if they were just short-handed but the kid that brought our drinks and chips he was on point absolutely fabulous service from him we has to ask for a waiter to come take our order but once we ordered our food it came out pretty quick and it was very flavorful and and the dishes
I can honestly say, this place has Good Food, Great Service and the Best Prices in the Clear Lake area. Call it Webster's Little Hidden Oasis to all who have cross into their front door. My Wife and I enjoy their liquid refreshments (She raves about their Strawberry Daiquiris) Our children enjoy the kids menu, Queso with chips and drink up some Hochata. This is a place you walk in as the Waiter greets you with a hand shake, escorts you to your table because you already know him by name. (Ours is Mr. LALO) The detailed attention and good dishes offer on the menu is what keeps us coming back Los Ramirez. **Even Menudo is listed on weekends** Don't be shocked when you receive the check because you will be surprised once you compare them to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Bring your empty bellies and feast as if your were sitting at the border enjoying a good meal in Mexico. Local Neighborhood Resident Sam I Am
I have been coming here for more than 3 years..... This place keeps the warmth of a family restaurant. There is not wait to be accommodated. The wait for food is around 15 minutes. With my family, we have tried almost the whole menu and everything is great. Price is very reasonable, cheaper compared to most mexican restaurants in the neighborhood.
This place continuously exceeds my expectations! Excellent food, service and value! Portions are awesome and they are not chincy with the booze! I drive the extra 5-7 miles or so to come to this location; for some reason the one in Dickinson sux balls! #TRUTH
Recently started eating here! I've tried to find a good local place since my other go-to place got shut down. I'll start with the menudo, it's very good and authentic. Both times I've had it, though, I got a big chunk of bone. That's really my only complaint about it. It's so good for a Sunday breakfast! I could eat menudo all day and I would come to this place to get it! I love dipping my tortilla in the broth, it just soaks up all the goodness. I always get the flour tortillas because they are so great and made from scratch. They are warm and fluffy and best when their barbacoa is in them. I could eat the barbacoa all day! They take the time to get rid of the fat from it and that just makes the taco oh so much better. They bring you the tacos with cilantro and onions. It pairs perfectly with the barbacoa. I took my kids here for lunch the other day and they grubbed down! It's so hard to get my little one to eat anything because she has sensory issues. I ordered her the cheese quesadilla and she could not eat it fast enough! My son loves the cheese enchiladas so much that he now requests them for breakfast too! Lol. he loves the chili sauce on them so much that he will use chips to finish it all. I love fajita salad and they did not disappoint with that either. I got the chicken fajita salad and it came with cheese, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and of course the chicken fajita and lettuce. They serve it in a tortilla shell. I have nothing bad to say about it. It was so so filling! The shell was so good that my son was reaching across the table to try and get more! lol. We also tried the queso dip and it was so good! My son kept trying to bring the bowl closer to him. he said "don't eat it all, I want more" haha. The red and green salsa were just as good. I've gotten the pancakes for my son and he was so quiet. Ha! Just a boy and his pancakes for breakfast lol. The little one gets waffles and always cleans her plate. Overall we really like this place and it has become our new go-to Mexican restaurant.
I ordered cactus and eggs with pineapple soda. It was pretty good but too salty. I am not sure if authentic dish is suppose to be this salty. The server was hard to wave down. However despite everything, the freshness of food, cleanliness and professionalism makes this a great place to grab a bite
How have I not eaten here before? I mean, good, cheap Mexican food? Yeah, I'm a fan! We've driven by this little place (which really isn't so little; for some reason I had pictured it only having a few tables but it's got quite a few tables and a little side section even for overflow) a million times since we've moved and it's almost always busy, but we just never stopped in. Today though....today was different The stars and the planets aligned and the day ended in "y"...ok, ok, we were just hungry and someone the day before had mentioned it. We had no idea what to expect but we were greeted pleasantly at the door and shown to a table at the back. It's not a fancy place but it seemed clean and everyone was friendly. They took our drink order and brought out the chips and salsas. The red salsa was meh. It looked like tomato sauce and was super runny. But the green sauce? Oh man. That is some good stuff....it's a little thin and not creamy like some but has a nice kick to it. I could drink that green sauce. They only brought one basket of chips and one bowl of salsa each, which was fine as it was lunch but come dinner time, load me up with the yummies, dangit! I just got the crunchy chicken tacos and hubby got the beef fajita tacos. I got two tacos and rice and beans for $4.25. Yeah. Four. Twenty. Five. Cheaper than many fast food places and man they were so freaking good! Hubby's beef fajita tacos were stuffed with some yummy seasoned fajita beef and he got rice and beans as well for only $5.95. Wow. Granted, these were on the lunch special menu, but still. You know the dinner prices can't be too much higher. I meant to look at the rest of the menu but forgot; guess that means we will just have to go back so we can check out the dinner menu. Plus, they had $1.00 draughts for happy hour. So on one of those crazy work day when you need a cold bear and some good food to unwind after work? I have a feeling this will be the go to place for that! This was a really good place and a great bang for the buck; no wonder they are always busy! I have a feeling we will be making our way back there soon, as well!
